I've been a naughty girl....

My boyfriend decided to implement a ban on shopping for a month last night.
A week and a half before I go on holiday (luckily I bought all my new bits and pieces last week!) and then two and a half weeks after I get back....the meany!
I'm only allowed to buy food now, no clothes, no make up and no stationary HMPH!!
I thought I'd have one last day of freedom and will from now on be strict with myself...
In all honesty I was bored and browsing through blogs and getting inspired :)

I read a post about this and thought it looked amazing :)
I'm a sucker for eyeshadows at the moment and am loving Urban Decay
This is the NYC book of shadows III
It's only available online until 6th September
I'm so excited for this little lovely to come through the post :) eeep!
The pop-up even lights up :O!!

I finally ordered some stuff from E.L.F
I've been meaning too for a while
Therapeutic conditioning lip balm - Strawberry creme

Liquid Eyeliner - Coffee (I'm quite excited about this!)

All over cover stick - Apricot Beige

All over colour stick - Golden Peach

Natural radiance blusher - Coy

Smudge Eye Sponge

And of course I had a browse of the old topshop website....
I need to wear more rings, I just stick to earrings and necklaces, paying little attention to my hands
This is perfect...I love anything with birds on!
I live in little pumps like these so I couldn't resist!

Not sure why but this caught my attention, guess I saw myself all wrapped up on my way to uni in was in the sale so no harm done!!

Girly dress :) Self explanatory...
£45.00 down to £10.00 how could I say no?!

Love love love topshop socks
3 pairs for £ you trot to my basket!

Obligatory panda pair of course!

These made me nostalgic :)
I think I have a bit of a shopping problem...I popped into the small town where I live yesterday to pay some money into our account and got completely side-tracked by Boots...oops!
I came out with a new lipstick and nail varnish from 17, I admit I was drawn in by the 'Spend £6 get a summer bronzer kit' but the varnish is nice and as soon as I find my blackberry cable I'll upload the pictures. (I've got about 3 different varnishes to review!)
There's also a 2 for £6 on the Aussie harecare stuff which I haven't tried before so thought I'd give them a go. I got the heat defence spray and 3minute miracle conditioner, which I've already used and has worked wonders on my hair.
Haircut next week in preparation for holiday!
I'm still buzzing with excitement!
Booked all of our shows on the cruise today eeee :)
Byeee xx

America shopping list

I'm off on holiday very very soon and I really cannot wait!
My Mum, best friend and I are going to Florida for a week and a Carribbean cruise for a loooovely luxurious week afterwards :)

I don't think I've ever been this excited before...

My plans and itineraries have been in action for ages, I'm so organised it's unreal!

The shopping list started a long time ago but has changed loads...these are the things I'm most excited about getting, plus lots lots more!

I've been eyeing up this necklace for a while now and think I might just treat myself to it, or the one below...I'm torn!

I love the shoes and the range of diferent styles they have in Journey's, I can tell I'll be coming back with lots! I want to get some nice boots for Winter and like these all for different reasons.
These black ones are really nice, I like the way the zip comes down, they feel unique :)

These would go with so much in my wardrobe. I love brown boots and the detailing gives them a bit of originality...

I LOVE these! The studded gem things are gorgeous and I've been wanting to get a pair of boots in this style for ages. Definitely hunting these down!

These are so cute too. I like the fringing detail :)

American Eagle

I'm always perusing their website. It's all so nice and casual for uni and it's not too expensive which is good :)

This dress is gorgeous! I've had my eye on it for ages just hoping it won't be discontinued before I go

This would look perfect with skinny jeans and those gorgeous studded boots...yum!

My black blazer has seen better days now, this would be a good replacement

I've needed a denim jacket for ages....not sure if I will get one though, I'll try it on and see what I think though

Abercrombie and Fitch

Yes I am an Abercrombie and Fitch lover :) and proud lol!

Their sweaters are so comfy and snuggly, I brought one lst year and lived in it in the winter

Just because I don't have a green cardigan...

Perfect for uni days

There's also tonnes of MAC make up, Kiehls stuff, jewlery and other shops I intend to go in but this would be a marathon post if I included them all!

Packing, Work and the general joys of being young...

It seems I have been neglecting my poor blog this week :(
To be quite honest it feels like once again I have no time to do anything!
I want to get some nail varnish and other make up reviews up soon especially with all my new eyeshadows, OPI varnishes and my newly established love for lipstick.
Since my birthday I've been basically doing the same old with work, gym and seeing my boyfriend. But it's been awkward to do the last thing as his parents are away for two weeks so he has to stay home, fair enough a free house but he only has a single bed and we tried an air bed....bad sleep!

I've been trying to get in as much gym time as possible at the moment with the holiday getting closer (yay!) but still feel a bit like I'm getting no where....I think it might be my diet and vow to improve it and stick with it for the next couple of weeks before we go. I have however managed to run for 10mins solid which is a huge achievement for me as I couldn't even do 1min without wanting to die 2 months ago :)

Oh that reminds me, anyone have any tips for sticking with healthy eating on a budget and when u work long, stressful shifts right next door to a MacDonalds (the devils!!)???

I started packing this week, I'm one of those people who love to pack about a month in advance! I do have a reason this time though as I'm moving out soon so there's no point in packing to unpack to then pack it's so exciting to get all the pretty dresses and summery clothes out, especially with the rain at the moment...bleurgh! I'm so excited for our holiday, been writing out shopping lists and plans of attack for the malls, I'm just too awesome!

Should be hopefully moving out next week if all goes well. We bought some paint for the flat on Saturday and decided on wallpaper etc. for the living room. I managed to weedle some pink into the bedroom woop :) happy bunny!

Oooh I actually went out on Saturday night for my birthday, I'm not much of a drinker/partier so very rarely go out drinking with the friends. I prefer to stay in with the bf and chill with a film. I had an amazing time though and really enjoyed seeing some friends I haven't seen in a while :) I've also promised myself to go out more often!! Means more excuses to buy shoes :P

As from today I have roughly 6 days off from work so should be hopefully doing some reviews and posts of more interest than these 'What I've been up to...' posts :)

Just a quick OOTD from the other day
I think I was just shopping, looking for new bikinis. Was just meant to be popping into Tesco's and came out with too much! The clothes were in the sale though, the shoes weren't :/ my bad! I have a bit of a problem!

Top: New Look
Cardigan: Topshop
Skirt: Primark
Leggings: New Look

I changed the skirt a bit later to a denim one when I popped into town to nose the new additions to the Topshop sale, didn't find much just a cardi, waistcoat and strapless top. Still got £40 of vouchers left which I plan to keep until I find the right navy coat for winter in there.

I wore this then to the cinema with my Mum to see Cats and Dogs 2 :) and Inception after. I love seeing kiddie films with my Mum we're both such big kids!

I got some more MAC Pigment pots through the post and tried something a bit more adventurous for me, some colour! I think it looked alright, not too bright and in your face...

And here are some pictures from my birthday night out:

Me and my two best mates Sophie and Kat

I'm rather drunk here (the pictures aren't in order!) doing the Macarena

Me and Parijat, an old school mate I recently got back in contact with

With the besties again

A loooovely close up courtesy of the bf

Annnnd me and my boyfriend Gavin (of course pulling a funny face!)

Is anyone else already getting excited for Christmas? No? Just me then! I love it :D
