Spread your wings my little butterfly

Black Shirt with Gold Collar Tips ~ Tesco
Black Vest ~ New Look
Leggings ~ Next
Nude Studded Pumps ~ River Island
Necklace ~ Coast
Handbag ~ Luella

Worn for my Mum's birthday meal out

When I saw this shirt in Tesco I had to take a double look
It's so on trend with the collar tips and dipped hem, which you can't really see here
I love it, in fact I wore it for a job interview recently as well
It was only £14 I think as well which is amazing!

I can see the pain behind your eyes, it's been there for quite a while

Black Suede Heels ~ Next
Handbag ~ Luella

I wore this for a recent meal out with a few girlfriends.
I felt really comfortable which makes a change as I usually feel a bit bleb and don't go out much (loser I know).
These long vests from New Look are brilliant, their only £6 and go so well under sheer tops, short jumpers or just on their own. I've stocked up, can never find nice, fitted, long vests.

Party Like A Rockstar

Dress ~ Warehouse
Vest ~ New Look
Belt ~ Topshop
Sandals ~ Primark
Watch ~ Michael Kors
Handbag ~ Mulberry Alexa

I recently hopped on a train with some of my family and visited the lovely London to see the theatre show Rock of Ages (above is my outfit). It was epic!
Shayne Ward plays an egotistical, dramaqueen, rock god and he was amazing in his role...and yummy! Unfortunately Justin Lee Collins wasn't in it the night we saw it but the other guy was really good, just a shame we missed him.
If you get the chance I'd definitely recommend it, and there's a little Greek restaurant near the theatre I'd also recommend.

The other week it was my boyfriends cousins wedding
This was my outfit of choice, I couldn't decide what to wear so I made a last minute dash to Tesco in my lunch break and came out with this pink number, not bad for £15..
Tesco seems to be excelling in high street fashion now, before when It was deemed embarrassing to buy clothes from Tesco seems so long ago now!

Please remind me who I really am...

Since the warm weather has disappeared (boo) I've dragged the jeans out once again
The other day I went to the cinema with my lovely Mum to see Prometheus
It was awesome! I'm such a film geek though.
Last week we saw Snow White and the Huntsman which I thoroughly recommend
I loved it
This is what I wore to the cinema

I swear to you, I'll be there for you

I am loving all of this sunny weather and taking full advantage of every minute I'm not spent cooped up in Topps Tiles...the place is like a green house it's so damn hot!
On recent shopping trips I've been stocking up on summery clothes and I finally get to wear them, so happy :)
So here's a couple of outfits from a lovely sunny weekend

IMG_1181
Dress, Jacket, Shoes and Leggings all from New Look
New look seems to be the only place I shop at the moment, might have something to do with only shopping with my Mum and she loves the place
I wandered into the Inspire plus size section and found this little jacket, being a size 18 its slightly oversized but I think the style definitely benefits from that and I love it, keep chucking it on top of everything

I'm also loving my Benefit Browzings kit
Much better than a pencil and I can see it lasting ages too
I'm thinking about dedicating a whole post to it

IMG_1186
With the above outfit I also wore this little guy
I love anything with an animal motif and this instantly reminded me of Kenya
For £4 I couldn't leave him behind
Giraffe ring~New Look

I wore that outfit to my boyfriends sister's 21st birthday party
Spent the evening with his family and had such a lovely time
Wasn't her birthday cake cute...

Today I'm just chilling out seeing my Mum and doing a few bits around the flat

General Jibberish

I had a little shop in Primark this week :)
Saw quite a few things I fancied but restrained myself
Might take a visit back tomorrow
 Pink beige ring £2
Nail varnish: Models Own, Hot Magenta

Dusky Mauve Teadress, reduced to £5. Love this, quite a small fit so I'm glad I bought a size larger
The bow details on the shoulder are gorgeous too
I've been eying this playsuit up for weeks but never thought it would suit me
I bought it on a whim and when I tried it on I loved it
I intend to wear this to the Berkeley Hotel in March for tea with the bestest...of course I'll wear it before then too
£13
Kat actually found this and thought I'd like it
She was right, as always :)
It said £10 on the label but went through as £6, nice!
Just two pretty scarves which I thought would be nice in the Spring
£4 and £3

 Both rings £2

Quick look of the day too with my last primark find
This dress was only £5, I'm definitely picking up a few more when I go back
Dress: Primark
Cardi: Topshop
Leggings: New Look
I added my plaited, brown, leather belt under the bust after I took these photos

I'm off to do the washing up....fun!

Outfits and purchases....

I haven't posted an outfit for a while now so I made the effort to actually take some shots
I've not had the motivation to make much of an effort with my clothes for a while but have started again
So expect more shots of my ensembles soon!

This was just a comfy outfit for work the other day
I look like a scruff bag but no one really sees me
Blue top: Topshop
Nude wavy tunic: Topshop
Teal Cardi: Forever 21
Black Jeans: Torrid
I wore this with my Uggs for ultimate comfiness

I have recently come to the conclusion that since leaving the cinema and working with Mum my weight has creeped back up again
This is most probably due to the fact I sit on my arse all day in front of a computer eating biscuits and drinking tea
I need to remedy this ASAP!
I've almost put the 2 stone I worked so hard to lose back on, seriously a couple of pounds now
Sucks!

Flowery dress for a day at the gym and shopping with the bestest
Love this dress for something casual I can just chuck on
After seeing these photos I did put a plain black vest on underneath as it's a bit sheer on the old boobage!
Floral Dress: Topshop
Rust Cardi: New Look
Black Leggings: New Look
And of course worn with the trusty brogues
I'm looking for a better quality pair but can't justify the £70 I've seen some for
Shame I didn't hunt some down in the sales!
Today I went for a nice long walk with Mum and the pup
Dress: Forever 21
Cardigan: Topshop
Leggings: New Look
Worn with grey suede boots
 Onto the purchases....
I had a pair of shorts and shirt to take back to New Look so treated myself to three new sheer shirts (loving these right now!)
As I paid I was expecting to have to pay around £20 extra for the extra shirt but it came up as £4.49...the cashier had screwed up the student discount. Made my day
I love all the peter pan collars around at the moment but I struggle with high neck cuts due to an 'ample' bosom... this shirt was a happy medium and I love the collar
It is a bit on the short side but with a top underneath it was fine
I wore this last night for the bf's sisters engagement party. I felt good but was also aware of the tummy :( still I shall beat it so to speak!!
I think this was only £15.99 so not too expensive for a lovely shirt
I had been eying this shirt up for ages, well before Christmas
I was specifically on the look out for this as I think it can be dressed up or down
Very happy about finding it, and it was in the tall section so not too short
This one came up extremely short but the print is gorgeous so I'll keep trying to style it right

I may have popped into boots and made two sneaky purchases...whoopsy!
The bestie needed something for her sisters birthday and I got completely distracted
I love love love the Benefit blushers, Coralista is a firm favourite (even got Kat hooked) but the price is a bit steep
But yesterday I just thought f*ck it I felt pretty crap and wanted to smile about something
Enter....
 Dallas £24
'An outdoor glow for an indoors gal'
I have super pale skin and never seem to manage to get my own healthy glow without becoming a lobster, so fingers crossed this will work for me
 Swatch without flash

How could not get myself Bella Bamba after all the hype on blogger about it
Bella Bamba £24
This is a lovely colour
Gives a gorgeous flush of colour and 'extra dimensionality'
I wore this last night and really liked it
Definitely recommend it
 Dallas (top)
Bella Bamba (bottom)

All in all a pretty good weekend
I had an awesome week too
Friday I did a photoshoot and am loving my project idea right now
Might post a few of the photos soon
Seeing friends a lot more which is awesome
And helping Mum out as much as possible
Things are starting to look up

Hope everyone is amazing :)

University OOTD

Well it's the start of the third week of my third year at uni. I've got so many tutorials and library books to rummage for.....
Anywho here's my chosen outfit for today

Dress: Next
Cardi: Topshop
Tights: Primark
Bag: Guess
Brouges: New Look

I love this dress, being a curvy girl I struggle with things to suit me but find sticking to pretty floral dresses looks alright..it's a bit of a failsafe for me!

And now off to catch a lovely train :/
All though I do have a book on the criticisms of fairytales...gone are the train journeys where I could read for fun... still need to finish The girl who kicked the hornets nest, one day!

OOTD's and recent shopping splurges

Well it's been a busy few days. Been working lots, going to the gym loads (I've got until the 28th August to sort myself out...), and shopping of course...
Outfit for shopping...
Dress: New Look
Cardigan: Topshop
Leggings: New Look
Necklace: Asos

I'm always a happy bunny when I'm shopping so it was a good day for me :) apart from having to go to work till midnight after but oh well, more money towards my Speedy :)
My lovely Mum gave me some bits and pieces to take back for her and let me use the money to treat myself, which of course I did. I also took some money out of my holiday savings just to treat myself after a 50hour week.

First stop Lush

After my first dabble with Lush I now love it! I got the sweetie stack of soaps with 'Honey I washed the kids', 'Rockstar' and 'I should coco'. They all smell fantastic, I just need a soap tray next to the sink to stop Mum telling me off for leaving soapyness everywhere...
I really liked the massage bars I got before so I got 'Strawberry feels forever' and 'Mange Too' both smell really sweet and yummy. Because I bought two I got a free tin which is handy to take them to the gym in. I then got the 'Comforter' bubble bar, I don't really have baths I'm more of a shower person but thought I'd try it out so after a stressful day of work and going to the gym twice I had a lovely PINK bubble bath, it was soooo good :)
The last little thing is the 'Whoosh' temple balm, it's been a saviour for keeping my focussed this week, a difficult job!

I then went into New Look and a small little boutiquey shop near me. Oh and of course Primark but I only got a vest and underwear, no need for pictures!

I love this little jacket, it was reduced from £28 down to £18. It's so pretty and I was quite surprised to find it in New Look of all places. I can't wait to wear it and will post an outfit post when I do.
This sparkly vest top would look really nice with skinny jeans and heels, and it was only £6 :) reduced from £22. I was rather happy. I got home and found my Mum had bought this too...we have really similar taste apparently!
My Mum bought a green maxi dress from this little shop near where I live but the sizing was wrong and it looked terrible so I took it in to get a refund, they refused to give me a refund and I initially couldn't find anything I liked. Then I saw the rail full of maxidresses and found this beauty. I love maxidresses and I love peacocks so the print on this really attracted me. It is extremely slimming on which is a bonus for me and with my mum's exchange only cost me £5 woop :D

Last stop was The Body Shop
They had an offer on the shower gels, one for £6 or four for £12...so of course I had to get four, cherry, strawberry, lemon and satsumas. They all smell yummy so I didn't really mind. The travel sized goodies were buy four and get a free make-up bag (this was the last one left, I couldn't resist!) I got the foot spray stuff, this was a godsend on my duke of edinburgh expeditions and hopefully will be nice on my tootsies after traipsing around theme parks and shops all day on holiday, and some more shower stuff. All been put away for holiday of course. The blue poofer, as I call them, is for Gavin, he keeps mentioning he wants one so thought I'd treat him...

When I got home a whole heap of my ebay stuff and MaxC order had arrived. Oh this was such an amazing day for me :)
Lilac Dress: £10
Union Jack bag: £10.50
Cream Butterfly Belt: £6
Pink Flower Belt: Free
I will definitely be revisiting MaxC, really affordable and lovely items, also really quick delivery. Overall a very good site.
O.P.I Nail Varnishes in (L-R)
'Got a Date to Knight'
'Purple with a purpose'
'Suzi loves Sydney'
'Italian love affair'
I love O/P.I nail varnishes ever since my Auntie gave me a gold sparkly one when I was about 11. I've got anohter one on the way. These were only £5.89 each which I thought was good for O.P.I nail varnishes.
Silver Key necklace £2.99
Gold Camera necklace £5.99
Blue earrings £1
Panda brooch £1.99
These all pretty much sum me up, the key necklace is supposed to represent Bella's cottage keys from the Twilight books but I love key jewellery anyway. The camera necklace has a pretty pink flower on it too, two of my favourite things, photography and flowers. I love the nautical trend, almost as much as florals, hence the earrings. And Pandas are my favourite animal, they fascinate me, I'm planing a month long trip to work with them at the end of my degree, can't wait!!

I'm still waiting for a few other bits but these made my day on Monday. But seeing as it's Thursday other things are making me smile. Tuesday I went to the gym and then met up with the bestest who I took to see Eclipse, having free cinema tickets is quite handy. Plus Kat said it looks like I've lost weight so it's good to know all my hard work at the gym is paying off :D
Dress: MaxC
Vest: H&M
Cardigan: Topshop
Leggings: New Look
Belt: MaxC
Necklace: Ebay

Wednesday was pretty standard, Work 12-6, gym after and chilling with my Mum in the evening so no outfit post for then...

Today however I've been to the gym, cleaned the house and sorted my room. I am so daunted by the prospect of having to pack everything. I am such a hoarder, it's going to take forever and I can't get motivated to do it... Should hopefully be seeing Kat today, not sure what we're doing so thought I'd make an effort with my outfit.

Dress: Primark
Cardigan: Topshop
Belt: MaxC
Necklace: Topshop
Leggings: New Look

And here's ae picture of me and my little puppy Honey, she's been keeping me company whilst I write this hugely long blog....
