Revlon Lip Butter ~ Sweet Tart

IMG_1124
Revlon Lip Butter
Sweet Tart
£7.99 but currently on offer in Boots for £5.99

I love this colour on my lips
It's the perfect level of brightness to still feel that bit girly when I'm at work
I found this to be a gentle swash of colour with one swipe but could be buildable to a certain extent.
Whilst their on offer in boots I'm most definitely going to be stocking up on a few
Got my eye on Creme Brulee a lovely nude kind of colour and Candy Apple a more coral toned colour.

Have any of you guys tried these?

Love Belle

I swear to you, I'll be there for you

I am loving all of this sunny weather and taking full advantage of every minute I'm not spent cooped up in Topps Tiles...the place is like a green house it's so damn hot!
On recent shopping trips I've been stocking up on summery clothes and I finally get to wear them, so happy :)
So here's a couple of outfits from a lovely sunny weekend

IMG_1181
Dress, Jacket, Shoes and Leggings all from New Look
New look seems to be the only place I shop at the moment, might have something to do with only shopping with my Mum and she loves the place
I wandered into the Inspire plus size section and found this little jacket, being a size 18 its slightly oversized but I think the style definitely benefits from that and I love it, keep chucking it on top of everything

I'm also loving my Benefit Browzings kit
Much better than a pencil and I can see it lasting ages too
I'm thinking about dedicating a whole post to it

IMG_1186
With the above outfit I also wore this little guy
I love anything with an animal motif and this instantly reminded me of Kenya
For £4 I couldn't leave him behind
Giraffe ring~New Look

I wore that outfit to my boyfriends sister's 21st birthday party
Spent the evening with his family and had such a lovely time
Wasn't her birthday cake cute...

Today I'm just chilling out seeing my Mum and doing a few bits around the flat

18 and East

Screen shot 2012-05-17 at 13.19.01
I've been stuck with window shopping on the clothes front so been eying up various new websites and the goodness they hold...
18 and East is one of my newest discoveries and I love the clothes they stock.

Screen shot 2012-05-17 at 13.18.42
Gathered Detail Dress
£38.00
This is my favourite dress on the site and I'm definitely placing this at the top of my wish list
I can just see myself in the summer wearing this gorgeous dress and feeling all girly

Screen shot 2012-05-17 at 13.20.15
Asymmetric Belted Dress
£38.00
I'm such a fan of girly dresses and this is so cute

Screen shot 2012-05-17 at 13.23.06
High Waisted Scallop Shorts
£28.00
I don't really own any shorts other than a denim pair and these are so pretty
I love the scalloped edge detail and the print

Screen shot 2012-05-17 at 13.22.44
Wide Leg Trousers
£40.00
The print on these are actually little pidgeons
A bit different and I've been after some wide leg light weight trousers for ages

They also have a pretty impressive sale on at the moment

Beauty Hauling

I seem to have been rather in the wars this week... Monday I helped the boy plaster the ceiling and somehow tweaked my back which made me pretty useless in a tile shop for the next few days, was in absolute agony! Tuesday I ended up with a migraine which obviously was shockingly rubbish, to top it off stomach cramps came my way..whoop whoop! Add to that mouth ulcers and very little sleep I was not a happy bunny come thursday and my day off.

So off I trotted to my local shopping centre to have a wee little splurge on myself, needless to say I felt much better after.

Yesterday (being Saturday) I shot my first solo wedding and it couldn't have gone any better, so now I'm devoting my time off to setting up my own little business and I am so freaking excited! I really feel wedding shoots could be something I can get into. And setting up a business may distract me from spending money on days off all the time!

And the all important purchases...
Estee Lauder Eye Cream and Ombre Blusher
Benefit BrowZings, They're Real Mascara and Hello Flawless Powder
Essie Splash of Grenadine Nail Varnish
Models Own Bloo Boo and Indian Ocean Nail Varnish
Revlon coral Lip Butter
Barry M Coral Lipstick
Boots Eye Make up Remover Gel
Estee Lauder free gift
I also purchased deodrant and cotton balls but didn't think they were photo worthy
I'm definitely going to have to start doing some reviews so will make a start this week

Manicure with Bloo Boo and Indian Ocean
I found the Bloo Boo formula to be very runny and thin so it took around three coats and I still didn't achieve full opacity so thought I would try the Indian Ocean varnish on top. I love the effect of the Beetlejuice nail varnishes and will definitely be investing in more.

Well I'm considerably knackered after being at the wedding till 1am and then working 10-4 today and straight to the hospital to visit my grandad after work, and now I'm off to bed nice and early...

Night all

Beauty Lust List

beautylustlist

Benefit BrowZings ~ I recently collared in Boots by one of the lovely Benefit ladies, I was only looking for a cheap everyday foundation to use for work but ended up walking away with a freshly made up face and a few naughty purchases, the new foundation (post to come), a tester set of the face products and an eyebrow pencil. I've only recently got into penciling in my eyebrows so haven't tried many products the MA has booked me in this Thursday for a tutorial on how to use the BrowZings so be prepared for a post on that, must prepare the bank balance too!

Estee Lauder Double Wear ~ After trying the new Benefit foundation I'm eager to try some other new ones. I've been religious to my MAC Studio sculpt for over a year so want to try a few different products, any suggestions welcomed. I've seen this reviewed on many blogs so figure it must be worth a try.

Chanel Rouge Volupte ~ Just because it's pretty, it's pink and it's Chanel...do I need anymore explanation?

MAC Pink Swoon Blusher ~ I love love love blushers and always want to expand my collection. Other than Well Dressed my collection is mainly Coral based, Pink Swoon is completely different to anything I own already. I'm coming up to six empties for my back to MAC so may give this a little swatchy swatch whilst I'm there.

Neals Yard Eye Make-up remover ~ I've recently been favouring a little pamper session every evening rather than just using a make up wipe. I've nearly run out of my Estee Lauder eye make up remover so I'd like to give this one a try next. If I'm ordering online I'd like to buy a few other bits but not sure what, guess some blog reading is in order there...

Essie Splash of Grenadine ~ My cousin is a beautician and when she painted my toes before Kenya I noticed she had this colour on her toes and I loved it! Shame I'd already chosen my pedicure colour which I also loved :P It's such a summery colour and I think I may have just enough Boots points for a little treat.

If any of you out there have tried any of these let me know what your opinions are.

Kenya

Back in March my Mum and I formed two of a group of eleven who travelled out to Kenya to be a part of a friends wedding.
It was such an amazing holiday and it couldn't have come at a better time for me.
Two weeks of rest and relaxation, just what the doctor ordered! Literally
Whilst in Africa of course we went on a safari which was amazing, al though we didn't see quite as many animals as we did in Tanzania for my 18th but I finally saw a leopard AMAZING!
Anyway I'll just post a few shots from the holiday.
Normal fashion and beauty blogging shall commence after this post promise :)

Wedding Bells....

Nope not my own wedding bells, believe me you would have heard about that one!
When we came back from Kenya (post to follow) My Aunt got married.
It was such a gorgeous wedding, very intimate with only 45 guests but it was perfect for the happy couple.
I'll post a few pictures of the day...now that I actually know how! Thank you so much Lorna from Cheap Kicks!

And another of me and the boy

I originally had a dress made in China similar to my Mum's but turquoise, unfortunately I over indulged a wee bit over Christmas and in Kenya so it was a little snug so off to Next.
This little beaut was one of two dresses I bought, the other was just a plain black (which I'm wearing to my friends wedding this weekend as I'm shooting it so want to look professional) The shoes are also Next but my pearl necklace was fro China so still managed to get a bit of it in there!

Now that I've sussed photos out I really want to get back on top of blogging...
