Sleek 'Respect' Palette

Sleek's newest mini collection sees them collaborating with massive fashion house PPQ

The outcome is the Shangri-La collection

There are two eyeshadow palettes; Respect and Supreme, accompanied by two matte lipglosses in  jazz and soul

I picked up the Respect Palette in Superdrug for £7.99

The colours included in the collection are inspired by 'classic motown sound, with a retro vibe channelling glamorous 60's style'

As with all Sleek Palettes the pigmentation is brilliant

Especially with the shimmer textured shadows

The real standout colours on the top row for me are 'James Brown' a gorgeous brown shimmer which will be perfect for autumn, browns are my go to eye colours

Also 'Aretha Orange' is a lovely bright, striking colour

I don't normally go for bright on my lids but with nude lips and toned blusher I may have to give it a go

'Vandellas' is a stunning berry tone and again would be perfect for autumn

I've not got a matte black shadow in my collection so the inclusion of 'Roberta Black' is good and I can have a play with some serious smokey eyes

The other standout for me is 'O'Jays' an amazing rose gold colour, this could make a good blusher colour too

Next Autumn 2012

For the past couple of years I have found myself shopping more and more in Next

I used to think the people who would wait for hours for Next sales were raging loons but now I join them...maybe not at 5am but at the more respectable 10am...

Their home range is to die for, I love all the interior items they have to chose from and always wander round the home section.

I'm also a massive lover of Autumn fashion, it's my favourite time of year to shop

All the rich colours, warm knitwear, layering pieces...heaven for me!

Last night I popped into my local Next (lethal being open till 8!) and had a nosey at the new  Autumn clothes, it was love. I only bought a little black studded top being the day before payday but will most definitely be going back armed with my shopping list.

After all my boyfriend did say he didn't want anything for his birthday, surely a happy girlfriend is present enough ;)

And of course the onesie is a must have for sofa days in this lovely rainy, cold weather we're having.

I recently hopped on a train with some of my family and visited the lovely London to see the theatre show Rock of Ages (above is my outfit). It was epic! 

Shayne Ward plays an egotistical, dramaqueen, rock god and he was amazing in his role...and yummy! Unfortunately Justin Lee Collins wasn't in it the night we saw it but the other guy was really good, just a shame we missed him.

If you get the chance I'd definitely recommend it, and there's a little Greek restaurant near the theatre I'd also recommend.

Liz Earle ~ Rose and Lavender Cleanse and Polish

Liz Earle is a brand I've wanted to dabble in for a long time now. 

I've seen it mentioned on many different blogs and heard rave reviews, but for some reason every reason I've gone to purchase something I've not had any money left or had to  buy something else...but I finally took the plunge.

What I love the most about Liz Earle is how she only uses natural products so all the crappy chemicals I normally plaster on my face aren't present. 

Hopefully this will stop my breakouts or at least help.

I'm itching to get my hands on some of the make-up range now available, think I'll have to wait till Christmas now (yep not long till C-Day!!)

I decided to go for a kit as it allowed me to try a few things out. 

In the September Skincare Essentials Kit you get a choice of the original version of the infamous Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser or the Limited Edition Princes Trust Rose and Lavender version. I went for the limited edition as one it looks so pretty and two sounded like it would smell gorgeous. 

In the kit was also an instant skin boost tonic and skin repair moisturiser.

I also received a free sample of the original Cleanse and Polish so can try this out too.

So far I've been really enjoying using all of the products.

I now give myself 10 minutes every night to wind down before bed and have some time to myself to pamper... I use the cleanse and polish first, then the toner and then the moisturiser..followed by my dermalogica total eye care and some kiehl's lip balm.

I am loving this routine and find my skin seems to look a bit glowy. Always a good thing!

Real Techniques Core Collection Kit

Real Techniques Make-up Brushes

I've wanted to get some decent make up brushes for so long

I've got two MAC brushes which I love but their far too pricey to have a whole kit

The Boots No7 brushes are also pretty good especially when you have the £5 off vouchers

I'd seen Real Techniques brushes spoken about all over the blogosphere for so long so I took a little look on the website and settled on the Core Collection kit to try a selection of different brushes. I purchased from Amazon and they came within a few days. So far I love the brushes, they are so soft and make my base look flawless, I love them! Already eying up a few other brushes, specifically some of the eye brushes. 

In the kit there is:

A Detailer brush precision cut to use with concealer or as a lip brush

A Pointed Foundation brush

A Buffing brush (my favourite) 

A Contour brush

And a case which can be folded down to create a stand

Anyone have any recommendations for the Real Techniques brushes or make-up brushes in general?
